Vaping/ Drug Prevention
Drug Effects:
Drugs affects the mind and body! One should understand the effects of drug usage and underage drinking. The best solution is to not experiment with drugs for the first time because of addiction risks. Some people are genetically predisposed to drugs. Therefore, experimenting with drugs may be a death wish that cant be escaped from once started. Our belief is that you can't miss something that you've never had. Buffy tells the story to (high schoolers) only, Buffy prompts students to look at someone that they know that are drug addicts as an example of how their lives can turn out if they experiment with drugs. This can be a sobering reminder of what not to do. Dont experiment with drugs because one's future and quality of life depends on it. Getting high on life should never be underestimated. The ability to wake up to see a new day while being able to walk, talk, see and hear are all the reasons to be high on life. Today is a great day because we woke up to see another day. One day we wont wake up but today wasn't the day!
Peer Pressure:
Students should be encouraged to be leaders and not succumb to the pressures of doing drugs. An individual should always think twice before making a hasty decision. Make choices that will benefit you as opposed to making choices that are detrimental to you and your future. Students shouldn't make a bad choice to experiment with drugs because of peer pressure. After high school graduation, most students won't interact with most of their current friends or classmates. Therefore, it is is important to not ruin their future by experimenting with drugs because of a group or person that are not likely to be in their future.
Spirits
Alcohol and drugs are spirits that alters minds and personality. Many alcohol brands contain the word spirit. The word alcohol and spirits are synonymous with each other because of the nature of alcohol. Substances can impair judgement in making life altering decisions. Therefore, one should err on the side of caution when considering the consumption of alcohol or drugs. Drug use cloud the mind and judgement. Therefore, In order for one to reach their goals, one should keep a clear mind in pursuit of their goals.
